Article 1: 2021 Membership Renewal
Members of AICNSW are reminded that membership will expire on the 31 March 2021.
We forwarded to all current members a renewal email on Monday 1 March 2021 with details on how to renew and providing login details.
Renewals can only be done through the Membership Portal on AICNSW website.

Article 2: Jobkeeper- Payroll tax exemption
Revenue NSW has published a new Commissioner’s practice note, CPN 020: Jobkeeper – Payroll tax exemption on its website. The practice note provides guidance to employers in NSW that are registered for payroll tax and have made payments to their employees as part of the JobKeeper program.
Article 3: NSW LRS to accept PDF files in ePlan
NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) will soon make PDF the default lodgment file type in ePlan so that lodging parties and Surveyors will be able to submit standard PDF files instead of compressing their documents into TIFF format.
Article 4: Strata laws consultation closes soon
The NSW Government’s public consultation on its proposed changes to the strata legislation closes on 7 April 2021.
The extensive review covers diverse areas of interest – including managing common property, resolving disputes, by-laws including animals, committee and owners corporation meetings, mixed-use schemes, strata renewal and much more. See the link below for more information and take the straw poll on whether strata plans should be able to ban pets.
Article 5: Last chance to take the LRS Feedback Survey
LRS is checking in with its customers to assist it to improve customer satisfaction with its information, products and user experience with an online survey will take about five-minutes. Your feedback will help LRS to improve responsiveness and provide a more personalised service..
The survey will close 5.00 pm tomorrow,12 March 2021.
Article 6: MOR & MPR v6 to commence in April
Following extended consultation and delays due to Covid, ARNECC has published the Version 6 of the Model Operating Rules and the Model Participation Rules on its website which will both commence on 12 April 2021.
